6 - 10 June

The SpongeBob Musical

Wales Millennium Centre

Starring Pop Idol and musical superstar Gareth Gates and Ru-Paul’s Drag Race legend Divina De Campo, The SpongeBob Musical is a hilarious deep-sea pearl of a show that is set to make a splash with audiences young and old and features a tidal wave of original songs by the world’s most iconic rock and pop artists.

 

16 June

Blondie

Depot, Cardiff

Pop-punk, New Wave, New York legends Blondie will perform at Cardiff Castle this summer. DEPOT founder Nick Saunders said: “We absolutely love to bring true music legends to Cardiff. For the last four decades, Blondie’s influence has shaped and continues to inform the worlds of music, fashion and art. Their live shows continue to be incredible and it is going to be amazing watching them perform in our city as the sun sets on the Castle grounds.”

 

17 - 18 June

Pride Cymru

Cardiff Castle

Pride Cymru is excited to host Wales’ biggest celebration of equality and diversity at Cardiff Castle. An exciting programme of fantastic performers, an iconic parade and a fabulous community market.

 

25 June

Rag ‘n’ Bone Man

Cardiff Castle

One of the hot tickets of the summer, triple Brit award winner Rag ‘n’ Bone Man has announced a huge headline show in Cardiff. The ‘Human’ and ‘Life By Misadventure’ hit maker will perform at Cardiff Castle this summer.

 

27 June - 1 July

Greatest Days

Wales Millennium Centre

Relight Your Fire with this sensational new production of Take That’s smash hit musical Greatest Days. Starring Kym Marsh, the musical follows best friends in the 1990s, who reunite over 20 years later to see their heartthrobs one last time. The show features more than 15 record-breaking Take That songs, alongside a heart-warming and hilarious story of love, loss and laughter.

 

7 - 9 July

Cardiff Food & Drink Festival

Cardiff Bay

Cardiff Food and Drink Festival returns to its regular venue in Roald Dahl Plass, it will host the regular stallholders with plenty of new ones, Alongside the fantastic food and drink, the Bandstand will have full programme of live music throughout each of the three days of the festival and at the Crafters Market, you’ll find a wonderful selection of hand-made goods.

 

23 July

Ben Howard

Cardiff Castle

The double platinum-selling artist Ben Howard has a very special outdoor show at the historic Cardiff Castle this summer. Widely regarded as one of the best of British acoustic singer-songwriters, with a number of awards and accolades, including two BRIT Awards and a Mercury Prize nomination. He has released four albums to date, with the most recent being ‘Collections From The Whiteout’ in 2021.

St Fagans National Museum of History

Every summer, Pride marches and events are held across Wales to celebrate LGBTQ+ equality and visibility. The display includes objects from Pride events held across Wales, protest banners and LGBTQ+ campaign badges from Amgueddfa Cymru’s collection.
