The spooky season is upon us, so it's time to start planning lots of monstrous mayhem for the best Halloween ever!


Half-Term Fun in Llanelli

29th Oct - 6th Nov


Entertain the kids this half-term with an exciting trip to Llanelli Wetland Centre. The team are always looking for fun ways to get kids interested in the natural world and this month they have a fantastic, wildlife learning experience for all the family.

Visit for Eek! Week to explore the interactive trail and discover a mysterious world of wetland nature. Keep your eyes peeled, your ears pricked, and engage all your senses as you make your way around the wetlands.

Put your spookometer to the test with the interactive activities. Will you dare to put your hand in a snake box, grab a photo op with a bat or look at the gruesome contents of an owl pellet up close? It’s a weirdly wild day out for the whole family.


 

Spooks In The City At Castle Square

29th Oct

On October 29th Castle Square in Swansea will be transformed into a spooky spectacular filled with family entertainment, games and dance performances.

This fang-tastic free event will have music, glitter tattoos, theatrical make-up, craft stalls, pumpkins, gory props for the best photo opportunities and workshops.

Look out for the Halloween characters roaming around, have a go at the pumpkin hunt and finish off with the pumpkin parade!


 

Oystermouth Castle Ghost Stories

29th - 31th Oct


Go on a Creepy Castle Trail around the spooky Castle looking for (friendly) ghosts and ghouls along the way!

You’ll be guided on a trail through the Castle graveyard, into the depths of the Castle where ghosts and ghouls lurk in rooms and passageways. Experience the supernatural and listen out for a spooky tale or two. You may even spot The White Lady!

For a terrifyingly good Halloween night visit the Haunted Castle with the lights out!


 

Party In The Barn At Gower Fresh

22nd Oct - 6th Nov

From October 1st you can pick your own pumpkin at Gower Fresh Christmas Trees. You can also join the Ghostbusters Party in The Barn, from 22nd Oct until 6th November. You’ll meet The Salon Sisters and Marv the Monster along with a VR rollercoster, fun fair, face painting and pumpkin carving. Book your tickets ahead its just £12.95 per child.


 


Plantasia After Dark

31st Oct


A Halloween spooktacular for all the family. Decipher the clues

and follow the map through the dark and mysterious jungle to the trick or treat stations. Complete the animal handling and Halloween challenges to earn a spooky stamp and a prize at the end. Book in advance for a family Beast Feast with pizza and soft drinks.


 

Scary Crafts At Carnegie House

31st Oct

Head to Carnegie House in Bridgend for some free crafty fun, 31st October. For kids up to age 11, they’ll make masking tape mummies, witch houses and bat hats. If you want to take part book ahead.
