Flock to Wales Millennium Centre to see Mother Goose
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to see Ian McKellen and John Bishop as they join forces to bring you the ultimate family-friendly panto that’s been a smash-hit across the country.
Ambassador Theatre Group Productions are thrilled to announce that the hilarious new production of Mother Goose is coming to Wales Millennium Centre this Spring, 28 March - 1 April.
The ultimate theatrical experience full of fun, farce and a few surprises, Mother Goose will send feathers flying and make you honk out loud.
There’s nothing quite like a dame and bringing the show to South Wales gives Welsh audiences the chance to see knight of the realm Ian McKellen camping it up in an iconic theatre performance that will have you rolling in the aisles.
Alongside Ian McKellen as Mother Goose and John Bishop as Vic Goose, Mother Goose also stars Anna-Jane Casey as Cilla The Goose, Oscar Conlon-Morrey as Jack, Simbi Akande as Jill, Sharon Ballard as Good Fairy Encanta and Karen Mavundukure as Evil Fairy Malignia.
Mother Goose (McKellen) and her husband Vic (Bishop) run an Animal Sanctuary for waifs and strays and live a wholesome life inside an abandoned Debenhams. But when a goose flies in, will fame and fortune get the better of them?! Will Ma’s feathers be seriously ruffled? Will Pa tell everyone to get stuffed?! And is their fair life about to turn fowl?
This mother of all pantos is written by Jonathan Harvey (Coronation Street, Gimme Gimme Gimme) and directed by award-winning director Cal McCrystal.
Get ready for fairies with hefty vocal chords, puppets with tap dance qualifications and impeccably constructed mayhem that will quack up the whole family.
Book now because tickets for this theatrical extravaganza are guaranteed to sell out,
