Get your boots on and join the Gower Walking Festival this September

The Gower Walking Festival returns in 2022, from Saturday 3rd September to Sunday 11th September, with nine days of thirty-three glorious walks!

At the heart of this year’s festival we are celebrating the tenth anniversary of the Wales Coastal Path (WCP). Our first weekend offers the chance to walk the entire Gower section of the WCP, from Penclawdd to Mumbles (over forty miles), in two days. Over the course of the nine days, more than half of our walks will be on the coastal path.

Walking is recognised as benefiting not only our physical health, but also our mental health. Walking gives you time to think, enjoy nature, and explore new landscapes. We have a wonderful team of volunteer walk leaders ready to share with you their knowledge of our special landscapes here on Gower and surrounding area.

Before booking, go to our website gowerwalkingfestival.uk and read the 'How to Book Page', which includes our important T&Cs. Some of our walks are dog-friendly, and the variety of walks on offer ensures there is something for all, from those who prefer a gentle stroll to the serious long-distance walker.

We do hope you enjoy this programme of walks exploring the UK’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Time to get your boots on!
