Waterfront Winterland returns for the festive season from 10 November 2022 to 8 January 2023!
Swansea’s magical winter experience.
Museum Park will be transformed into Waterfront Winterland for the 2022 festive period with everyone’s favourite attractions – including the covered ice rink, open-air ice walk, and extended Alpine Village brought to you by Sayers Events and A2H Live, in partnership with Swansea Council.
Everyone’s favourite Alpine Village will be returning this year, with an extended area to enjoy festive food and drink, live music, socialise and soak up the festivities!

Ice Skating returns to Waterfront Winterland this year, with the ever popular covered rink now being accompanied by a magical Ice Walk which meanders through the trees – and skaters will have access to both during their skating sessions!
Brand new for 2022, students and families can purchase super saver tickets, offering substantial savings on their Waterfront Winterland experience. The student ticket includes skating, an adult meal and choice of beer, small wine, or mulled wine, with a total saving of £6. The family ticket offers two adults and two children, or one adult and three children, a saving of £18 on skating for four, one or two adult meals, 1 or two adult drinks, and two or three children’s meals, with drinks included.
Accessible skating sessions will also be available every Tuesday. Guests can enjoy the Alpine Bar; the perfect way to socialise with family and friends in the cosiest of areas – ideal for those cold winter nights! See Swansea from the skies with our 33m Observation Wheel – the best way to see the magical views of the City. This year the Wheel has an accessible carriage for wheelchair users.
