Enjoy the country life

The festival transforms the Royal Welsh Showground into a vibrant tapestry of country life, with over 600 classes showcasing traditional and rare livestock breeds alongside prestigious equestrian events qualifying for the Royal International Horse Show.


Dog enthusiasts will delight in the Premier Open Dog Show – a Crufts 2026 qualifier, along with a fun dog show, with generous prizes – while children can experience the Panic Family Circus, petting farm and medieval reenactments in the lively Country Life Area.

A taste of Wales

No country festival would be complete without a feast for the senses, and the Welsh Food Hall delivers splendidly with local producers offering artisanal treats to savour while browsing the extensive shopping areas.
