Cardiff Winter Wonderland

Cardiff’s much-loved Winter Wonderland will be returning in 2023 with it’s famous undercover ice-rink and Ice Walk, the Big Wheel and family funfair, plus a whole host of other attractions.
Alongside the alpine ski-lodge bar, Sur la Piste, festive food and drink stalls, not to mention the seriously cool Ice Bar, Winter Wonderland really is at the heart of the Cardiff’s seasonal celebrations.

Santa's Grotto
Queen Street, Cardiff
Visit the man himself this Christmas at Cardiff’s official Santa’s Grotto. On Queen Street, outside Queen’s Arcade, you’ll find a magical log cabin with a singing Rudolph. No need to pre-book, just arrive and every child will be seen. Open daily from 10.30am until Christmas Eve, it’s £8.99 per child that includes a gift to take away.

Enjoy Techniquest after dark at this winter-themed adults-only evening. Explore over 100 hands-on exhibits, take in a live science show or Star Tour, dance the night away in the silent disco and get stuck into a host of extra activities.
