We're back with a Pride Festival celebration
Pride Cymru’s Big Weekend 2022 is Wales’s biggest celebration of equality and diversity. Over the 2 day August bank holiday weekend.
The festival kicks off with the Parade through the city centre, full of colour, passion and respect, our parade will bring people from all walks of life together in Cardiff’s city centre. The route covers over two miles and welcomes local LGBT groups as well as companies wanting to show support for their LGBTQIA+ colleagues & team members.
The Parade ends and the fun starts at the City Hall Lawns. Our pride festival entertainment covers 3 stages over 2 days of jam packed performances from a mix of big names and local talent!
Bimini
Bimini is a performer, author, model and recording artist who won the hearts of the country on season two of RuPauls Drag Race UK. Bimini was voted Miss Congeniality by the fellow cast members and came in second place on the show.
Melanic C
From her rise to fame as one fifth of the most successful girl band of all time – The Spice Girls - to her successful solo career, Melanie C’s impact on music and pop culture has been nothing short of incredible.
Loads of family fun, extravagant entertainment and celebrating the importance of the LGBT+ community.
