Zip World Tower is a brand-new adventure site for families and thrill-seekers alike. Zip World’s fourth site, it’s the first situated in South Wales and is home to the Phoenix zip line, BIG RED mini-zip and the recently launched Tower Coaster.

Nestled in the Rhigos Mountain range, Zip World Tower is also home to some of the most stunning views South Wales has to offer. This adventure hub is situated at the old Tower Colliery coal mining site and has brought a new lease of life to this historic and widely loved base.
Zip World currently have three incredible experiences at this historic site. Adventurous souls who enjoy adrenaline-fuelled activities will love the Phoenix zip line. Phoenix is the world’s fastest seated zip line, with 4 parallel lines in each of the 2 separate zip zones. This thrilling activity will see you soaring over beautiful Welsh countryside at speeds of up to and over an impressive 70mph!
Tower Coaster - the first of its kind in Europe - showcases 2-seater karts and puts you in control of how fast you go with a simple lever to operate. You’ll find yourself dipping and weaving across the incredible site where old meets new. Reaching speeds of up to 25 mph over more than 1 kilometre of track, it can be enjoyed by little and big kids alike.
If you would like another activity to keep your mini-thrill seekers entertained, BIG RED is the ultimate zipping experience for the little ones. Located outside the Cegin Glo Bar and Bistro, BIG RED is the perfect way to entertain the kids whilst the grownups enjoy a cup of tea, coffee or maybe even something a little stronger!
The bar and bistro is open to all for food and drinks, whether you’re adventuring or not, and boasts floor to ceiling views of the Phoenix zip line, Tower Coaster and the stunning Rhigos mountain range beyond.
